ViaMobilidade, a company in the Motiva group, announced the appointment of Everton Trindade as the new director responsible for operating lines 8-Diamante and 9-Esmeralda, which make up the railway concession in the Metropolitan Region of São Paulo.
The executive assumes the position with the mission of strengthening operational excellence and expanding safety standards for the two branches, which transport over 800,000 passengers daily and connect the capital of São Paulo to neighboring municipalities such as Osasco, Itapevi, Jandira, and Barueri.
With over two decades of experience in the metro-railway sector, Everton Trindade built his professional career at companies such as SuperVia and MetrôRio. In addition to work in passenger transportation, he also accumulated experience in the railway freight transportation area.
Holding a degree in Civil Engineering, the new director has specializations in Railway Freight Transportation Engineering, Transportation Business Management, Innovation, and Leadership in Project Management. According to ViaMobilidade, his education and experience provide an integrated view of operations, maintenance, asset reliability, safety, people management, operational efficiency, and customer experience.
The change in management occurs at a time of investments promoted by Motiva in lines 8-Diamante and 9-Esmeralda. Among the ongoing initiatives are the modernization of systems and the revitalization of the 44 stations that make up the two branches.
