The concession operator responsible for operating Metrô Bahia announced, this Monday (13th), the appointment of Maria Eduarda Studart as the new Manager of Terminals and Stations of the Bahian metro system.
With more than a decade of experience in the logistics and passenger transportation segments, Occupational Safety, Quality and Environment, Maria Eduarda is a specialist in the metro-railway sector, an area in which she has worked for 12 years. Throughout her career, she has accumulated experience in integrated management and development of operations focused on urban mobility.
According to the concession operator, the arrival of the new manager reinforces the company’s commitment to operational excellence and the quality of services provided to over 400,000 passengers who use the system daily.
“I assume this new stage with enthusiasm and sense of responsibility. My commitment is to work with the teams to strengthen the operational efficiency of terminals and stations, always with a focus on safety, quality of services and the best experience for the metro system’s customers,” she stated.
In operation for 12 years, Metrô Bahia has 38 kilometers of extension distributed across two lines and 22 stations, integrated with ten urban terminals. Throughout its history, the system that connects Salvador to Lauro de Freitas has transported over 850 million passengers and generates over 3,800 direct and indirect jobs.
