President Dilma Rousseff said in this Monday that the concessions package for infrastructure promised by her in June will be “a bit wider” than the previous one, covering roads, railways, airports, ports and other concessions.
During a speech in the Palácio do Planalto, in the ceremony of signature of the contract for the concession of the Rio¬Niterói Bridge, the president said the Brazilian concession program is strong and credible. “We believe it will be as successful as the first one”, said Dilma.
“We’re mature enough to respect a concession project whose rules have been observed and fulfilled without disequilibrium in the contracts. That means robustness in a concession project.”

While leaving the ceremony, held in one of the halls of the Palácio do Planalto, Dilma avoided the press saying she needed to “work” and promising to concede an interview on Tuesday, when she’ll receive an official visit of the Chinese prime-minister, Li Keqiang.
Also approached at his exit by Valor PRO, Valor’s real-time news service, when leaving, the minister of Finace, Joaquim Levy also avoided conceding any interview when questioned about the budget contingency announced this week.
