If confirmed the objective of the tests, CPTM will install the compressor in all of the trains that circulate for the metropolitan area of São Paulo.
Cost cutting
For CPTM, the main function of the piece is to produce compressed air for introduction in important systems of the train, as brake, doors, it honks, contatores, pantógrafo, suspension control, among others.
Cláudio Sumida affirms that with the implantation of the compressor VV120T, the network of rails of the company will grow in transport quality aiding in the arduous task of reducing costs with manuntenção.

Compatible technology
Without revealing the total invested in the import of the system, Sumida tells that the technology can be implanted in other means of transportation by rails as high-speed trains and light vehicles on rails. The compressor is also compatible with the locomotives moved to diesel, he says.
