SuperVia receives four more Korean trains from the government of Rio de Janeiro on Saturday, January 6. They are to be sent to the company’s workshops for tests and then will join the other ten trains currently in operation — another two are being tested and are expected to circulate as of the end of the month.
Another four are in the Port of Rio de Janeiro awaiting liberation, totaling 20 trains that have been purchased from Rotem. The total investment is US$ 100 million, financed by the World Bank.
