A public hearing will be held by the City Council to discuss monorail stations’ implementation and Torres Avenue extension. The event will occur at Centro de Convivência da Família Padre Pedro Vignola, in Cidade Nova neighborhood, in Northern Manaus, on May 31.
The Transportation, Roads and Public Works Commission of the City of Manaus approved the hearing last Friday (10). In a statement, the advisory cabinet of Councilman Rosivaldo Cordovil (PTN), Commission Chairman, said the of the State Infrastructure Secretariat (SEINFRA), the State Environment and Sustainable Development Secretariat (SDS) and the Institute of Environmental Protection of the Amazon (IPAAM) will be invited to the event.
The discussion should be focused on the effect of the works in North Manaus. The commission meeting was also attended by Concillors Waldemir José (PT) and Walfran Torres (PTC).
