Iochpe-Maxion said this Tuesday (1/10) that its subsidiary AmstedMaxion Fundição e Equipamentos Ferroviários completed the sale of 491 freight cars, with deliveries between January and August this year.
The biggest turnover occurred with the FCA/MRC, which purchased 264 vehicles, followed by Vale, which bought 144 cars.
In addition, Iochpe-Maxion agreed to reprogram the rail box deliveries to FCA/MRC; of the 1,200 boxes scheduled for delivery in 2011, 323 were deferred to 2012.
With the new requests, the orders of Amsted Maxion reach 724 rail freight cars and 623 rail boxes, with deliveries scheduled for 2012, representing gross revenue of approximately US$ 155.40 million.
