The CEO of the Empresa de Planejamento e Logística (EPL), Bernardo Figueiredo, announced on this Monday that Poland and Germany asked the Brazilian government to conduct specific roadshows to present infrastructure investment projects in their countries. Figueiredo spoke with reporters after attending speech to ambassadors from various countries at the Itamaraty Palace in Brasilia. Presentations like those of Monday are planned in New York, London, Tokyo and Singapore. The first city to host the venture was São Paulo, last February 5.
In addition to Poland and Germany, the government also plans a bilateral meeting with the Chinese, also to present the projects. Germany, according to the president of the EPL, has much interest in the railroad part, in the High Speed Rail (HSR). They want to do an event with greater focus on this project, he pointed out. In Poland they have many equipment manufacturers: trucks, cars, locomotives, so each country want to do something more specific, he said.
